Why Fiberglass

Because our customers deserve the best products available, Clearwater Pools specializes in carefree fiberglass pools. Our fiberglass pools carry a full 100% warranty against cracking or leaking for as long as you own your pool. Fiberglass is gel coated to protect against sun damage and has a nonporous surface. Gunite/concrete and liners have a porous surface. Algae finds it much more difficult to attach itself and grow on fiberglass. This nonporous surface also greatly assists with the circulation of the water resulting in less electricity and fewer chemicals to operate a fiberglass pool. Savings to you will more than make up for the slight extra cost of fiberglass.

Compare

It takes on the average only 5 working days to complete the installation of a fiberglass pool. Installation of a concrete/gunite or liner pool can take from several weeks up to 2 months for complete installation. Fiberglass pools give you the confidence of a worry free summer. Concrete or gunite pools must be drained and painted every 3 or 4 years with pool paint that cost an average of $100.00 per gallon. Liner pools require the replacement of the liner when damaged or worn with a cost of $2,000.00 to $4,000.00. Although fiberglass pools are slightly more expensive than liner pools they are far less expensive than concrete/gunite pools. Taking into account the replacement of a liner at least every 6 or 7 years, fiberglass is by far the best value.

We will provide the needed information and expertise to assist you in your decisions about such things as sand filters, ionization or salt water treatments and pool heaters. Our fiber optic lighting offers you the safety of lighting without electricity running into your pool. The Clearwater family uses and recommends Polaris automatic pool cleaners. Even if you don't purchase a Polaris cleaner when your pool is installed we plumb every pool that we build for one (at no extra cost to the customer,) just in case you decide to add one later. Our confidence in this cleaner is evident by this fact. If you own a pool, you should insist on a Polaris automatic cleaner.

The Finishing Touch

At Clearwater Pools we offer you many different options in pool decks. Cantilever concrete decks are our standard deck. This is an option with most companies that can cost you hundreds of dollars.
